Typhoon Myguide 3500Go Mio Miomap problems

Tried to recover 3500GO using MIO 268+.

This seems to run but I get no USB comms and Nav Application says no Maps on SD.

What am I doing wrong?

What do I need on the SD?

forgot to add:

When i say "runs", it boots and I get the MIO screen, but then I get a "Cannot find Maps on SD" message.

If I put in the SD card I get a nice picture with a RED CROSS on the SD card.

What is this all about?????
