GARMIN 12XL.Experts Please help

I am a newcomer to this forum Hi to all.I bought a Garmin 12xl in 1998 from Europe/Unfortunately couldnt make use of it much.Now I am in India, at Bangalore.I participate in rallies also occassionally.Is there any place from I can download, India or Bangalore map If so how to convert to my old and small Garmin.Please help please PM me if the facility is there.
