editing phone numbers

hi,
anybody know how you remove or edit the phone numbers once they have been bluetoothed to the garmin nuvi 610.
i can get the numbers onto the 610 but cant remove all or remove some of them which is what i want to do.

I think you have to 'unpair' and re-'pair' - thus deleting all the numbers

At least, that's the best I've managed on my Nüvi 310.
