Afternoon all,
I have a Garmin Streetpilot C310 and overall very happy with it.
I do have a couple of questions though, to do with adding more Custom POI's and Speedcamera updates.
Obviously, I still only have the standard 256MB card that came with it, but I'd like to buy a larger capacity one so I can include all the Burger King's in Britain AND all the Fitness Firsts.
Is it just a standard SD card, and is there a limit to the size of card that I can put into it?
Secondly, what is the best way to configure the new card for use? I presume that I will need to copy what's currently on it over to the new one, but how do I do this?
Last of all, how on earth do you remove POI's and Speed Camera uploads from the Sat Nav once they're on there?
I'm sure I've done it in the past, but I've lost the manual and haven't been able to find anything online that tells me how to do it.
If ANYONE can shed ANY light at all on ANY of these, I'd be really grateful!

Hi and welcome.
I can help with this one. The program you use to load the POIs in the first place is called POILoader. The latest version has an option to delete all existing POIs.

You should install the POI's onto the SD and not onto the unit. I suggest that you remove the SD card, run POI Loader with the Garmin attached to the PC to remove the POI's on the unit. Then disconnect the Garmin, connect an SD card reader and use POI Loader to install POI's onto the card. Using a card reader is very much quicker than using the Garmin as the Card reader.
I keep a directory of POI's on my PC which I update as necessary. By keeping different categories of POI's in different sub directories you can find your way around them more easily when using the Garmin.
