Fortuna clip on bt
Checkpoint 3.2

Hi all
im sorry i didnt know exactly where to post this but here goes.

i seem to have lost all the new cameras i added as pois. i had about 20 new ones and i changed the overlay to pocketgpsuk and every thing worked ok for a while. but now they dont show up on the maps Crying or Very sad(they still seam to exist if i look in "checkpoint - recorded POI's" ) the only other thing ive done is upgraded tt wizard and tt gps to v2.09.

Anybody got any ideas

Thanx in advance

When you record new POI's using CheckPOInt they are saved in the checkpoint.ov2 file. You have to ensure that this POI is set to show in order to see them on the map display.

When we received checkpoint.ov2 files from our readers we add these to the database after checking for duplicates etc and then release the new database every month or so. Hope that clarifies matters?

thanks Darren but i lost all camera pois not just the added ones. what i did with the new camera ones was

go to Recorded POI
select a poi
properties
change tha overlay to pocket gps

this shows the new cameras as cameras and not checkpoint poi's

but ive lost all the camera pois i dont know if it was something to do with changing the overlays or upgraging to gps 2.09 (or something stupid i might have done Embarassed )

any ideas greatly appreciated

Whwn you say you 'changed the overlay to pocketgpsuk', which overlay did you change, was it the POCKETGPS_SC_UK.ov2 or 'CHECKPOINT.ov2'? Also, did you change the bitmap as well, in fact did you maybe just change the bitmap name ansd not the adatbase file name?
