Hi all,
Anybody using Co-Pilot V7 with the HTC Touch.
HTC Touch being a great phone but a little sluggish on the CPU side, just wondered what the performanace was like before purchasing.
Anyone know of a better price than 79.99 Incl Vat for the UK/IRE Software V7/Maps.

Installed on my HTC Touch and works perfectly, got the upgrade from ALK for £50 having had CP6. You will obviously need a GPS receiver though as the HTC doesn't have one built in.
Got a problem with the camera update though, posted. |

Hi,
Glad to hear that the upgrade went fine on your Touch.
With regard to the Upgrade from V6 to V7, The new Upgrade disks do they promt for the old serial number of v6 before proceeding with the upgrade to v7.

Didn't get any disks, it is just on a micro sd card or whatever you ask for in the order, to get the discounted price you have to enter the old serial number when you place the order |

Have to say..I took the plunge and purchased V7... and it's awesome.....It is very responsive on the Touch, i'm quiet surprised as it's not the most powerful cpu on the market.
Only one negative comment of V7 GUI Mapping, however this could be me setting it up wrong.
The map layout does'nt appear to have an automatic zoom feature when coming up to a roundabout or a junction it just stays at the current setting.

I don't know about you guys, I bought the upgrade version from V6 to V7 and I did get DVD disks and an SD card, I did not install the SD card but rather copied the maps and installed the program from the DVD to my SD card. |
