Only the trigger speeds for the cameras can be changed here. The Garmin units don't contain any data on Road Speed Limits - only the Speed Camera Database contains any speed limit data.
Do you mean you have a road that has a posted limit of 40 mph but the cameras are showing a limit of 50 or 30 mph, for example? If so, you can make the submission in the yellow section on the Camera page - CLICK HERE Fill in the relevant detail for the camera and submit it as a Change Exisiting Camera. |

highlander317 - what device are you using?
It sounds as if you have a TomTom with a V6xx Map. If it is it's a known problem. _________________ Richard

Are you saying that it's the Map Data that's giving the incorrect warning?
If so there's not a lot that can be done without an upgraded Map. _________________ Richard

Can you tell us where these errors actually are to check them out, and what sort of error are you getting? i.e. what speed are you travelling at when the waring occurs? - Mike |

highlander317 - I have to make this clear. The speed zoned database contains information on CAMERA LOCATIONS and their trigger speeds and Camera Locations and their trigger speeds ONLY. It does NOT contain any information on general speed limits.
I have an i3 and it gives me alerts like Speed Alert:30 Mph Ahead occasionally but that information is nothing to do with the PGPSW database. It some internal information from the map and can't be changed.
Does the alert say something like GATSO:12345@50 ??? If so, what is the number where i have put 12345?
Is it the A133? There is a Mobile camera on that road close to the co-ords you gave...

From the coordinates given it would appear to be pMobile 37889@50, from the comments above it looks like the speed limit is 60 but the camera is incorrectly showing as 50 - if this is the case please submit the change via the download page use the "Expand for single camera Input" It is in yellow on the page, this will open up to reveal boxes to fill in - Mike |
