I am using a Palm T3 with TT 5.21. I understand that I could use TT6 with my device but the performance is very "jerky."
So my question is what is the latest version of maps for the US that I can use with TT 5.21? I looked in the compatibility matrix at
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-map-versions.php
and it shows 6.60. However 6.60 seems to be available only for Europe not US. Are later versions, like 6.75, compatible with 5.21? |

After calling TomTom support here in the US, the support person said that no current version 6 maps are supported on TTN5. So it looks like I'm out of luck since TTN6 is not officially supported on my T3, and when I do run it on my pda, it is much more jerky and slower than 5.26. |

If you have tried TT6 on the Palm make sure you have all the POI's installed disabled, by default it will enable them and this slows the map refresh rate down to a crawl, use the Warn When Near POI option instead - Mike |

Thanks. Disabling them does improve speed, however it is still quite a bit worse than 5.20 is. I wish that I could order a specific version of map from Tomtom, since the compatibility matrix shows several are actually compatible with 5.20. |
