ONE XL (Regional) FREEZES

For some time I have been trying to update my son's One XL (Regional) but after successfully downloading the up dates, when it restarts it gets as far as the TomTom Screen and then freezes. In order to switch it off I have to press the restart. If I insure the Orginal SD Card or a BACK UP of the Orginal Card and do the updates, the same thing happens.

Anyone any ideas please -he is desperate.

i too am having the same problem with my tt1 v2, i updated at the beggining of this week to get the quick gps fix and it installed v7.31 of the application and it froze, i had to install my back up but have now only got v6.52 so no quick gps fix, and when i try to update via home it wants to install v 7.31 again and when i do this... guess what... freeze again, anyone know how i can get a version before 7.31? as tomtom will obviously update to the latest version available
