POI Editors

I have been searching for a POI editor that installs local (web editors are too slow and lock up most of the time. I have a Nuvi 200W from Garmin and am looking to setup my custom POI's.

Have a look at POIEdit as this should do what you require - Mike

Thanks for the response, but i tried that app and was unable to work with the Address and Description data for each of my waypoints. I had to rule that one out..

Sure -- I want each of my points to contain street address and phone number along with a brief description -- Create my own or if i am editing on that i have downloaded -- I come up with many issues when trying to open cvs as a excel file. Formatting issues.. i am looking for a simple application that allows me to create detailed POI's and to download and edit existing POI's for my 200W.

I found a product called GeePeeEx and have downloaded -- My problem may be solved -- i will report on what i find.. its looking good so far...
