|
|
Just loaded the new Tomtom application for ONE & ONE New edition and it affects Suntime - when you go to the Suntime screen it is all fuzzy and unreadable. The Unit then froze and I had to do a reboot to get the thing working again
I then overwrote the application with the application for GO, ONE & RIDER and all seems well again.
Has anyone else experienced this or knows the reason? |

SunTime is written using the SDK. TomTom v7 does not support the SDK. Is this the source of your problem? |

Some of these additional applications can also be responsible for messing up the menu structure using version 7 software, the HelpMe and Map Share functions can disapear when the extra apps are loaded to the device - Mike |

Yep - that would seem to explain it - gone back to v6 and it seems ok. Thanks |

Wouldn't you have thought that TT would have added the auto switching between day/night maps in the software updates?
Silly really... _________________ TVR

Because of the menu problem when using third party files in the SDK folder, I removed them from the folder and placed them into a new folder called 'SDK original',
until TT have sorted out any other problems with the latest version.
I now have the new menu structure, but of course have lost the third party menus (Suntime etc). However, I notice that Suntime is still switching day/night screens at the appropriate time, which is a bonus I suppose. |
