|
|
Hi new to the forum and have recently purchased a nuvi 310.
Was wondering if it was possible to flash the 310 with 350 software in order to get it to speak street names or is there another way?
Also doesn't seem to be detecting speed cameras, is it it or me?
Cheers,

No, firstly the 350 firmware is not compatible with the 310, and will break the unit. However, if you meant the 360, I'm afraid you are out of luck - the 310 and the 360 share a common firmware; once the firmware is loaded is works out which hardware you have and enables / disables the TTS based on the hardware.
Secondly which speed cameras, the Garmin ones or ones downloaded from here? If PGPSW, what have you done so far with them (eg what did POI Loader report when it loaded them onto the unit), which files did you use, and what do you see if you go to Where To? Custom POIs...? _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |
