Just connected my One XL to Home 2.0 and advised updated application to install. Tried to install but insufficient memory. Did full backup then deleted application from Home on basis would then have room to install updated application. Now find that Home update doesn't show updated application and restoring backup doesn't reinstall previous application.
I can find the application update under HOME/Downloads/program. Comprises folder with .cab, .toc and .png files. Can I fix this by transferring these files onto my One XL using Windows Explorer, and if so, how?
Can't believe I did this now - hope someone can help. |

Welcome to the forum, as you have found the downloaded files on the PC the update should present itself to be installed via TomTom Home, connect the device and start Home, select "Instal to TomTom" look at the middle section of the screen which lists items to be installed, the update will be in this section, highlight it and click the install button.
Another option is to move the download file from the download folder, this way TomTom Home will look for the update and download it again, it is possible to manualy install the files, but please try the above before we start explaining how to bypass the "system" - Mike |
