Please help
When I add POIs after intalling the speed camera POIs with voice alerts, the speed cameras are removed from the nuvi. Also having problems transfering over MP3 files to nuvi memory after transfer of around 28 mp3 files I receive an error saying "cannot create file as the paramator is incorrect".I have 1.8GB of free memory Question
Ps is it possible to alter the alert distance from POIs on this unit

First thing to remember is that when you 'add' POIs onto any nuvi - it totally replaces he single user POIfile on the unit. So you should set up some sort of system to do this.

Create a specific folder on your PC for all user POIs (including speed cameras from this site) and use POILoader to download these. You can then add or remov POIs as you require. It may haelp to keep POI types (eg ATMs) in a different subfolder. It's easier to manage and it creates category types on the nuvi - allowing you to navigate to them a bit easier.

The non-speed camera POIs don't have a specific alert distance - they can be seen on the map if you zoom in close enough.

If you really want alerting on non-speed cameras - add @0 to the end of each POI name - this will trigger the nuvi to alert it like a speed camera .

You can alter the alert distance for speed cameras - I don't know off hand how it works as I use ASH10's wonderful CameraManager utility (see sticky at top of his forum) which allows you to set alert times e.g. 30 secs before camera.

Sorry - didn't respond to the other question.

Whilst you can store .mp3s on the nuvi main drive it is far simpler to store them on an SD card and use them from there. It sounds like you have filled up the 'spare' internal memory allocated.
