does the european database incorporate the uk camera database or do i need to put both on my tom tom navigator sd card. apologies if this has been asked before, i couldnt see a reference to it .........regards .......Al

You need both.

On the download page, immediately above the box where you select your Satnav system is a link that says:
"Click here to see a full breakdown of both UK and International cameras in the current database."

The list for the Europe version includes Eire and the continental countries but not the UK.

If you are worried about how many POI categories you would use up (100 limit on a TomTom or reduced to around 40 if you sign up for all Mapshare corrections!!) then you could always combine categories using POI Edit or similar.
