how do you do it, a friend has just got his tomtom and got the pocketgpsworld speed cam data base and tried to copy it to the western europe maps which it did, but he cant seem to see them on the tomtom ?, how are they enabled ?, reason im asking is i want this too but neither of us can get it to work on his ? |

yeh i tried that and the speed cameras dont show up on the POI options, could he have downloaded the wrong one ?, i want to add this to mine , but i dont fancy joining up if he cane even get it installed |

You don't say which software he's using?
Perhaps he has too many POIs installed. With V6 it is 100 categories. With earlier versions it was less.
What did he copy to the Map Folder? The OV2 and BMP Files, or the Zip Folder?
Give us a clue as to what was done, with the Device details, and we might be able to resolve the problem. _________________ Richard

actually non of his are called pocketgps ?, Hmmm, i need to check, on another note if i install the pocketgps ones what happens to the ones on my 720 that are on now ?, can i turn them off |

i cant actually remember, but non were called pocketgps, they all looked to be the same as the ones already installed ?, im just about to sign up to pocketgps so i can try the proper ones. lets just hope it works ok on my 720 |

well, i joined, downloaded the database and the voices and it worked first time no problems, god knows what he has got ?
