|
|
Hi, I've trawled using search but couldn't find an answer...apologies if already covered somewhere.
I have just installed the camera database using TomTom home for the first time.
I followed the instructions on this site and used the Home install option rather than OV2.
On the TomTom Home prgram the list of contents on my Go700 only shows UK speed camera categories 30,40,50,60,70 and Other. No red light, SPECS or Mobile.
Is this correct?
If not, should I just go back to the OV2 method?
Thanks. |

Connect the Unit to the PC and, using Explorer, see how many OV2 Files you have in the Map Folder. There should be less than 100. _________________ Richard

26 OV2 files and a similar number of VER files. |

There should be no problem with too many then.
Have you tried a Reset, to force the Unit to re-read the Data? _________________ Richard

Reset didn't help.
When looking at the TomTom Home prgramme screen it only shows the UK speed camera categories 30-70 and Other on the left (computer) side. Is there perhaps a problem with the data file downloaded from here? |

I'd just go back to the normal ov2 method, especially if you've used that successfully before.
By the time you've fired up Windows Explorer to count the ov2s and try to work out what Home has done, you could have done it the old way anyway! |
