I have delayed posting this for a couple of days just to be sure that it is actually working.
In the early hours of Sunday morning I docked my 720 with TT Home V2.0.0.370. It downloaded it's usual POI, Map & GPS Fix files, but I also noticed it was also downloading system files including a map update.
Not paying to much attention I inadvertently clicked on the virtual TomTom Icon and the 720 displayed correctly, nothing unusual you might say except for the fact that I still had my O2 XDA Orbit turned on and Paired and no Xuloader/xulrunner error.
Thinking that it must be just a fluke, I rebooted Windows XP Pro as well as a soft reset on the 720.
Now after 48 hours, a few more reboots, more updates it is still displaying the virtual display with all functions working with BT enabled phone tuned on and paired. What I can't say is if TomTom have put out a fix for this original problem or not, I WAS getting the error up till the update on Sunday.
Looking through the files on the 720 which had a system date change that correspond to the time of the update the following files were changed on the 720.
settings.dat
clmdata
system
install.bif
fmsignal
fm2010parameters
data.chk
In the TomTom Home 2 directory on the PC the XUL directory had been updated, Looking through that directory the plugins\emulator\navcore\ directories had been updated as have all the files in the navcore directory.
As I have said I don't know if this is an update to fix the XULrunner problem or just a coincident, but it's all working correctly. _________________ Graham.

I don't know if it's the same as older TTs, but there is a File called ttgo.bif
If you open this with Notepad it tells you the current version numbers.
If you have a new data.chk file, I would think you now have new updated software. _________________ Richard

Mine seemed to magically fix itself about a week ago. This quite strange as the Navcore software still has the same version number. My guess is that they've tweaked something to fix the problem and managed to retain the same version number. _________________ Cheers, John

Checking back through the update.bif with a backed up copy of the same It looks like TT have been a bit sneaky as it shows that the App update V7.010(8290) has been downloaded again and installed. So it looks like TT have made a few modifications to the original V7.010(8290). Which would also explain the new data.chk file.
Looking through the ttgo.bif which the 720 does have definitely confirms this.
TomTom have issued an update using a modified V7.010(8290) keeping the same file version name but the updated version is a larger file size.
So have now done another Windows backup should the need arise. _________________ Graham.
