Vista and Medion

I have recently bought a new HP Pavilion Slimline 3010.uk Pc running Windows Vista and installed Norton 360.

I have found that my SATNAV a Medion PNA175 can not contact the internet since swapping PCs. I have reinstalled the software on the SATNAV and downloaded Windows Mobile Device Centre (as you can't use activesync) and it still does not work. When you plug it in to a usb port the PC detects it and you can browse the files using Windows explorer but Windows Mobile Device does not connect to it. The SATNAV says no internet connection available.

I have done the same installation on my laptop running Windows XP and Activesync 4.5 and the SATNAV connects fine.

I have also disabled Norton to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas, its as though the Medion is not being allowed to pass through the PC

i got visat and tt have had no issues, but i would never use norton, its total cr*p, avg free ver 7.5 is as good if not better than most av programs, touch wood i have never had a viral problem...prob get a trojan after saying that. i think it more likely a port forwarding issue with your modem
