Can someone confirm whether the A120 By-Pass from Braintree to Stansted Airport is included on the latest UK maps. When i upgraded my maps last year, this wasn't included and the road has been open since 2003/2004. Thanks.

Oh! thats interesting, I asked this question yonks ago when I was thinking of upgrading and getting tired of "Jane" telling me to stop driving across open farmland I still use my TTG300. Which map version are you using, please? it might inspire me to buy a new map set, if they still make them for my trusted antique.

Its on the v675 map which is available on the TomTom website for download. It will work on your 300 if you're running rev6 firmware.
You can't yet download rev7 maps that are supplied with the x20 series. |

A working 720 uses v7,05.1480 maps these are not available for use on a Go-300 as the application cannot (as yet) run on your device, the latest maps for your device are the v675 release which looks identical when you compare the two side by side in your area of interest, so the road you want is on the latest map that your device can use, its just not the latest map thet TomTom offer across the product range - Mike |

Thanks all.
1) What version is the latest UK maps for the 510?
2) And are the 520/720 maps more update than 510/710 maps?
3) Why do people quote a 'working' 720? Is there something i'm missing about the 720? |

Latest map for an x10 device is the v675 map
The x20 Maps are slightly more upto date than the x10 series
A working 720 is what I have in front of me, so I have no idea what people are on about unless they have issues with their mobile phone or other reported problems - no faults with mine though - Mike |

Ahh... but was it "working" with double quotes, 'working' with single quotes or working with none at all?
I must get off this computer, I think I'm losing my mind.... |
