I have TT6 Version 6010 installed on my HP IPAQ H4150.
The thing is I'm trying to navigate to the MEN Manchester, formerly known
as the Nynex (tried that as well) howeve it does not find it I try "arena"
in the search field "MEN" "Nynex" it finds nothing I'm using the latest maps.
Could it be my version of TT6 ?
Would it help if I updated it to a later version.
Hope you can help.
Thanks |

Have a read of This Thread as it will give you a work around, the supplied POI files contained in the map data are not very good to be honest - Mike |

Thanks for the swift reply.....I'll do just as it says.
One more question...Will upgrading to a later version of TT6 show the MEN, or is it the maps that need to be changed (Currently using 675.1409)...I'm not sure where it gets the POI's from......Off topic...It finds the G-Mex.....Typical....
Thanks. |

An update to the latest map would currently entail changing the hardware as v7 maps are ony supplied on an x20 or the newer One v3, you have the latest map for your device. Even with a new map and new device it will not locate the MEN via POI files - I just checked!
The inbuilt POI files are supplied as part of the map data from the mapping provider, with the start up of Map Share the user has the ability to add and share POI files so each category can be increased as users start to add locations.
With your device you can create a POI category - name it what you want then store locations such as the MEN within it for future recall - Mike |
