My 210 was working fine when I last connected it using activesync, I've just tried to connect it now and windows is saying that an unknown usb device has malfunctioned.
The 210 is working fine - but no amount of soft or hard resets or even rebooting the pc will change this infernal message.
Any ideas anyone please?? |

Reinstall activesync, use another USB lead/connection.
Does the 210 appear (as an external drive) in Explorer? _________________ Jaguar XF R Sport AWD

Dave, thanks for the suggestions.
No change I'm afraid, and the SD card doesn't show in Windows XP Explorer.
On the plus side, it still works fine, but I can't progress either upgrading to AE nor muck about with Tomtom until this is sorted. |

Have you tried reinstalling active sync/using another pc?
I'd be surprised if it's a problem with the 210....
Is the medion (itself) appearing as an external drive? _________________ Jaguar XF R Sport AWD

Ok, tried out a fresh install of activesync on a different pc - and it still says that a device attached by USB has malfunctioned.
I'm fresh out of ideas ... how can I get into this device to fix it?
Would the Gopal Assist software assist? If so where can I get a copy? |
