Just received my 720 and changed the splash screen, cursor, paired my phone and added a phone book as mine does not support the download from phone feature.
Finally I uploaded the GPS speedcam and ogg files but on browsing the map none are visible.
I placed the files in the map folder as on my 500, is that correct for the 720?
Help would be appreciated, thanks

Diablo,

have you selected them as a viewable POI under the options tab on the map display?

Cheers
Paul

Yes Paul, all are ticked including the Sainsbury & Tesco poi's.

With the latter I can navigate to a poi and select say Tesco and then pick the nearest and I get the route.

At the end the bmp is displayed, but with the route cleared the result is the same as for the cams...no bmp's

Beware!! Don't be as 'smart' as me!

On loading the GPS cam files onto my 720 I saw existing TT speedcam files (3). I thought these might interfere with the ones I was loading so re-named them!! That was obviously the reason I was not getting the bmp's on my map.
Putting them back to original I now have cams showing up on a demo route.
I'm still wondering though, why a displayed map being browsed, is bare of cam bmp's. My 500 used to show the one at the top of my road at start up and loads of others when browsed.

I now have other probs! Home2 wants to download a file to be able to
work my unit on the PC (every time I connect), and then fails with the XULrunner.exe problem.
Also when I first used Home I changed the cursor OK. Now on the 720 it back to fefault and does nothing when attempting to change it on the unit.

Once again any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, only the cams, 2 supermarkets and petrol stations.
As you see my problem was self inflicted and resolved.
