Currently have a garmin streetpilot i3 which although is a great little sat-nav (peticullarly for what it cost when i bought it).

Have been using my sat-nav a lot lately so ideally wanted something thats a bit quicker to respond, has a bigger screen + has touchscreen.

Currently have a tomtom one v2 on order, paid £125 inc delivery for it. (its the UK/ireland one)

Im well aware the v3 is coming out soon but it seemed like a good price for it.

Hopefully I made the right choice was quite impressed with my mates tomtom one (no idea if its a v1 or v2 he's got).

if you like garmin then you could have gone for the nuvi 200 series - this is basically an i3 (ie no mp3 plaer, no bluetooth handsfree - a basic navigator with a few extras like world time) but with a bigger and touch screen and is about the same size, possibly a bit smaller, than the tomtom 1 v2.
