|
|
I uploaded a POI file (csv & bmp) a few months ago but cant find any of the icons when trying to confirm, move or delete on the GPSWorld google map.
Can anyone explain what has gone wrong.
By the way, it downloads and works fine on the TomTom.
Thanks |

Welcome hwr21.
If these are POIs such as shops and petrol stations none of them appear. Only the speed cameras.
Out of interest which POI was it?

Paul I think he is referring to the POI Submission Page _________________ Richard

Thanks guys.
You're spot on, I was referring to the POI Submission page. The POI's are under the category of Community and sub category of Salvation Army.
I know exactly where the locations are but no matter how far I zoom in on the map, I cant see any icons.
I want my colleagues to be able to check/confirm but without seeing the icon on the map it is going to be a bit hard.
Any clues? Thanks again. |

There's a Salvation Army icon at 51.45753676797048, -2.5725173950195312 - Bristol Easton, my mate's famous band. And another at 51.46432830236561, -2.5885677337646484. Another at 53.80128446284679, -1.536712646484375 Any help? I just had a look round for some, but maybe you were submitting Additions to the set? _________________ Dennis

Not knowing the original submission, and it's completeness, I can only speculate that some more need adding.
If you know where there should be one, why not Add them as a New Location. _________________ Richard

OK, thanks guys.
For some reason, some of the POI's are missing (which is why I couldn't see them) but thanks for the co-ordinates given, I can now see it is working. I can get others to add the missing ones.
Thanks very much for all your help. |
