"what is the best Pocket PC" is not a helpful question. What if I tell you the best Pocket PC is the HP iPAQ6315? I am pretty sure a lot of people will disagree with me.

Please be more specific what you want to use the Pocket PC for, and we can help you better.

As Lutz says, devices differ. I just bought an iPAQ hx4700 - a VGA screen was important to me this time round.

Your instability on your iPAQ 2210 may be down to your memory card. If you're using an SD card for your maps, posting details of brand, size, and a description of any markings or codes on the back of the card may be enlightening.

It may also help to turn off the display of POIs when navigating. If that doesn't help, try using Navigator without any add-on software such as CheckPOInt to see if that makes a difference.

It may be worth upgrading to the 1.10 ROM and applying the SDIO driver update if you haven't already done so - though do read the instructions carefully and be prepared for the mandatory hard reset if you upgrade the ROM.

Finally, make sure you've upgraded to the latest version of TomTom Navigator - which is available from the downloads area of support.tomtom.com.

Please note, the slightly smaller text on these forums are links.
