|
|
Hi
New to this forum - so hello to anyone reading this post (& thanks)
Just been given a ICN510 device which works well, however I have no software and my dad has no idea where the original discs are...
My question is this - can I upload a poi file (such as speedcam data) without the original software or will I have to try and source something from Navman (although I guess this will be very expensive).
I can explore the unit using activesync - can I upload using this?
Any help offered would be most gratefully accepeted. |

AFAIK, it isn't possible without the SmartST Desktop, as it is needed to convert the files to Navman's proprietary format. If you contact Navman they might send you the CD, although they might also charge you. _________________ Tim |

is there not a way of SHARING the software, does anybody actually already have the disk and no longer needs it. i have the cable, as it is a standard external hdd, mp3, digi camera, web cam cable, but to charge for a little bit of aoftware when you have just chopped off an arm for their hardware. you'd think it would come bundled wouldnt you

No, it's not possible to "share", not via this site, anyway. The 510 did come bundled with the necessary software, by the way. _________________ Tim |
