TomTom Europe vs. TomTom Country

I'm simply trying to figure out the quality of the TeleAtlas maps in TomTom. I can goto to viamichelin.com and check the TeleAtlas maps, but how do I know if the up to date TeleAtlas maps are included in TomTom. Also, I hurd a rumor that the maps you get with the one country you purchase with TomTom are different then when you buy the TomTom maps for Europe. Is that true? I will not even consider TomTom if I find out that that the maps for Europe package is less detailed then if I bought each country separately with TomTom.

Anyone know?

The maps in TTN2 (UK) are dated December 2002. AFAIK this is the same when included in the European maps.
