I've mentioned this before I think ?? but if my tomtom one clock is a couple of minutes slow and I go to clock settings and press sync the times alters but when I come out of the menu back to the navigation display the clock is wrong again!! anyone else suffer from this catastrophic software failure???
Its important to have the correct time displayed so you know what time you will arrive...int it? |

Found this on another website from TomTom Support but it seems less than satisfactory....

An example of this is:
Turn on TomTom ONE and set time to 14.28
Time goes on and clock is working 14.29, 14.30, 14.31, etc.
Device is turned off
Device is turned on again and time is 14.28
The procedure to correct this is:
- Go to "Change Preferences" in main menu and "reset to factory settings"
- Turn off ONE unit
- Remove SD card from ONE unit
- Hardware reset on the ONE unit (place implement in reset pinhole for 10 seconds)
- Place SD card back into ONE unit
- Set time in startup wizard (otherwise to also try in "change preferences" menu in "Sync Clock" instead).
Please note that trying this procedure more than once is often required to resolve this problem.
TomTom are also working on a future software update to solve this problem. This problem is software related only and has nothing to do with the hardware of the device. |

| thanks for the reply but my problem is different to that one, my problem is adjusting a slightly out of sync clock, it may only be a couple of minutes out as you may expect over a couple of months on any type of clock but when it is synced it looks ok till you go back to nav screen and there is the different time again....I would have thought tomtom could have had the unit autosync with the sattelite clock.......is that such a difficult thing to do? |

Still worth trying the suggested fix, though.
Make sure you have a backup though, as you will need to put your favourites and POIs back on after a factory reset. |
