Does the GO 710 come with a remote control?
If not, can I use my GO 700 remote control with the GO 710?
thanks |

The remote control from your 700 should work fine with an x10 product, I caused confusion in a recent traffic jam by using my 910 remote and the car in front using either a 500 or 700 followed the selections I made on my unit. The 710 doesn't come with a remote though, so try the old remote first - Mike |

It is also great fun taking your remote control into Halfords and playing with the display Tomtom units.
It looks OK if you have a Jacket/Anorak/Coat and you can operate the remote from a pocket. But beware it will look a little odd if you try and operate the remote from your trouser pockets!! _________________ RQ

To take this a little further, will the 700/710 remote work with a 520/720?
The latter is unobtainable at the moment.

Neil | I believe the x20 Remote is Bluetooth. The x10 uses Radio. _________________ Richard

No, you can't. the x00/x10 remote uses radio waves and x20 uses bluetooth. _________________ Harry (TT GO720T) |

Yes, bluetooth comes from Harald Bluetooth, he was a norweigian king in viking times. He was famous to get people to solve their fights just talking. _________________ Harry (TT GO720T) |
