I think my battery is failing in my 510. my question is how easy is to replace? I am fairly competent but if anyone has done this before would you please give me any pointers?
I will check on Ebay for replacement batteries or is there somewhere else I should look? |

Others have posted threads on this forum about it, if I remember right it was fairly straight forward once the correct batteirs are found. The device comes out of the Mitac factory, so Mio batteries would be the ones to look at for a match. |

Thanks Robert, I started to do a search and got over 5000 hits!! gradually reduced this and eventually found them at GPSforless at £19.99.
Looks like a straightforward job.
Dont know if its the battery (Doubtful) but while using the 510 today I noticed the map was stationary and I was a long way ahead of it, but the voice commands were correctly keeping up to my position. |

Not the battery. When you are in the "north up/2 D display, the screen can be panned. Once in thsi mode it won't follow the car automatically. To get it out, press the "Cancel" (Esc?) key. |
