|

I have tomtom on my N95 but the right button doesnt seem to do anything, whereas tomtom5 on my 6630 brought up the route summary with the right button.
Is this meant to work or not?
Thanks |

Since the N95 isn't on the compatibility list for TTN6, it would be difficult to provide such a confirmation. _________________ Tim |

On the contrary - despite Tomtom's reluctance to give official support to the N95, the software does run on the device pretty well (except its inability to access the internal GPS).
I can happily confirm that on my N95 the left/right buttons control volume down/up respectively, and the up/down buttons control zoom in/out respectively. |

Hi eilo7, Thanks for the reply. But when I say 'Right' button, i dont mean Right on the square. I mean the right hand function button, the one above the Red end call button.
I should have made myself more clear.
On my old 6630 with tomtom 5, the left function button brings up the menu, and the right function button brings up the route summary.
On my N95, the lft brings up the menu, but the right does nothing!!
Can you confirm
thanks |

There is nothing at all contrary in what I said. If TomTom supported the device, they would publish what buttons were meant to control what functions. _________________ Tim |

ddaddy, my top right button doesn't do anything either.
Top left is menu, direction buttons are as per post above, red end call button shuts down app, C button toggles sound mute. Neither green call button nor top right button seem to have any action allocated.
As Tim says (with my apologies Tim...I have re-read your post and see what you mean now), no-one knows 'officially' what the buttons should do, if anything.
Hopefully, though, you can relax knowing it isn't your system that is dysfunctional, just the software. |
