Aldi/Medion help

Hi all, could some body help me please? i set out today with a route
from North to South Wales. All was ok for about 40mins, then i got error
message on screen [ STL memory alocation failed ] when i clicked on the OK button the PC reset it's self. The same thing happen on the way back,
about 40mins the same error.!!! Help what is it? 10 Sats in veiw and working ok up till then. This has not happened before, the only other software on the pc is POI-Warner. Thanks. Lyn Newbi.

Hi Lyn, first thing to try is a soft reset (use the stylus in the reset hole on the rear).

If you still have the issue after doing this then I'd go for a Hard Reset (be aware that this will wipe everything!).

1. Remove the SD Memory card
2. Remove the battery and switch the unit off using the switch in the battery compartment.
3. Switch the unit back on, insert the battery and complete the initial set-up prompts. Then re-insert the SD card to re-install the navigator Software.

Try it for a while without POI-Warner, if all is OK, re-install POI-Warner and see if it's OK.

Thanks Darren i will give it a try, i did notice in the memory set-up
that it only had 12meg allocated to software. Should i up this a bit as well to say 24meg?

Normally best to leave the memory allocation decisions to the unit itself. I shall be testing Navigon's latest software on my way to Cardiff next week, after three, WALES, WALES, WALES First
