|
|
Two new white cameras on pylon type (I presume safer to crash into) supports have appeared on the A422 between Buckingham and Deanshanger - they do a have a small blue post near them which suggests it maybe a Trafficmaster camera, however Trafficmaster haven't replied to my email on this. I don't get a signal on my AA roadwatch 1800 - mind you I can't see an aerial on the cameras like normal Trafficmaster ones.
Has anyone else seen a new/different type of Trafficmaster cameras anywhere? |

Try this TRAFFICMASTER spy site, does it look like the first two images?

The aerial seems to come out of the top of the post! _________________ TomTom Go 60

They could be NPR cameras looking for vehicles without Tax or MOT's
I'm told one site is now permanent near us in Surrey. |

Found out what the cameras are - they on trial for up to a year to monitor traffic by a company in Milton Keynes called Counters and Accessories http://www.c-a.co.uk/. Unfortunately won't be part of Trafficmaster network. Shame would have been useful. |

If you have the location of these "cameras" it might not be a bad idea to submitt them to the site but add into the comments field exactly what they are, this way when someone else informs the site of a camera at that location the details are stored and it can be rejected as its known to not be a speed camera.
Only a couple of months ago I spent a quite a while looking for a submitted camera location only to find it was a CCTV camera over a shop door 8O - Mike |
