TomTom Mobile 5 running very slowly after sim update ??

Hi

I've had my SPVC500 and TomTom Mobile running perfectly for months. However, it's now running slowly (in the same way a PC doed when it's runing out of memory). Button pushes have a delay and the map screen updates very jerkily.

Only change made to the phone was a sim update from Orange. Could this be causing a problem ?

If so, is it possible to undo a sim update ? Would I have to get Orange to do it ?
