HI all

question do I get the new one XL or stick it out with my Go 910

Go910
4.0 inch widescreen WQVGA screen (480x272 pixels, 64,000 colors)
CPU 400 MHz
RAM 64MB
Lithium-Ion battery (4 hours operation)
20Gb Hard disk
Highly sensitive GPS chipset

One XL
Highly sensitive GPS chipset
32 MB RAM
CPU 266 MHz
4.3 inch full TFT colour LCD touchscreen
(480 x 272 pixels, 64.000 colors)
Internal Litium-Ion battery (2 hours operation)
119 x 86 x 27 mm, 208 grams
Operating temperature: -10 °C to +55 °C
Bluetooth™ 2.0

Looking at the spec I should keep the 910 with its rubbish handsfree, Bluetooth audio that streams to well nothing on on this earth.
plus using a 3.5mm jack audio out only gives mp3 player and direction but not Phone handsfree.

Or should I just go with the fits in pocket and looks great

What do you think Go910 or OneXL

Terry

I would save your money and stick with the 910, if you want audio output for the phone use the dodge Here, connect the external microphone and get a phone that actually works well with the 910 - to be honest I don't have a problem using it for hands free - what device are you using?

If you do decide to get a One XL then your hands free problem will be solved totally as the device cannot do this function it only connects to a phone for GPRS data traffic etc. - Mike

Hi Mike
Thanks for the reply

I found the dodge very useful thanks, But the hands free on my new head unit is just awesome so I will not be using the tomtom for hands free any more.

And that was my point all the added value on the 910 is all good and well but it just don't work, so why have it??

Just have the One and have the best navigation system there is and leave the Hands free and other things to other devices that work

Well the 910 is rather more than just hands free. For many the decision to purchase has nothing to do with that facility. I value the TTS, the iPod Connectivity and the US mapping.
