Garmin C320 How does the Safety Camera Warning work?

Hi, I have a Garmin C320 (Version 9 mapping loaded). I have downloaded the safety camera files which is displayed within "My Locations" then Custom POIs as "pocketgps_uk_mobile and pocketgps_uk_sc". The proximity alarm is set to ON. I used the POI loader and unzipped the download folder prior to sending the info to the satnav. Is this all I have to do? I drove past a fixed GATSO but I did not get any advance warning message or tone. Can anyone tell me what it is supposed to do on the approach to a fixed site? Or have I not set the Satnav up correctly?
