can i use both the pocket gps world speed cams along side the tomtom speed cams or do i need to remove the tomtom ones and if so how?? |

You can use both if you really want to but I wouldn't bother to be honest, there are some instructons on removing the TomTom camera Database files see #13 on This Page.
The two can co-locate and work, but I doubt you will find the TomTom database anywhere near as accurate as the one from this site - Mike |

Also, the PocketGPS DB is a LOT cheaper.
It does contain false positives, but I'd rather be warned incorrectly and not get caught, than not be warned at all and get 3 points. |

I've been running both. I chose quite a mellow pinging sound to disinguish them from the TomTom ones. Then I discovered it was the same tone as delays from TomTom traffic
If you're feeling brave, you can just delete the safety_cam_uk* files too |

I never come across ANY false positives in the main release of the database (except in the "pMobile" unverified reports file).
Are you sure you aren't getting alerts for mobile sites (99% of which won't be in use at any one time).
If you are using the single file version of the database, you will be alerted to those, but will have no way of telling it is a mobile site rather than a fixed camera. |
