|
|
Hi can someone please help me out?
There appears to be a problem with the Food & Drink POI download. I am not getting a .zip file but am getting a .php file which indicates to me there is now download available. I did try a selection of the other POIs just to make sure it wasn't a problem at my end and they all linked to POI.zip download files. It just appears to be the Food & Drink POI download.
Many Thanks |

Try Selecting the Show Link Option before downloading.
It could also be that you are selecting more than 20 sub-categories in one download. This seems to give a problem.
If you want/need all the Food & Drink locations, then I suggest you download 20 at a time, and Merge them with POIEdit, or POIConverter.
There are 56 sub-categories, so would suggest 3 downloads. Remember to rename the download zip files, as they arrive. They all come with the same name. ;) _________________ Richard

Oldboy
Thanks for the reply. That appears to be whats doing it. Managed to download a selection of the Food and Drink Files rather than all and it worked ok. Thanks
PS
I did email you some time ago with ref to your POI page at
Code: | http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/oldboy/TomTomPOI/index.html | to submit amends to some of the Petrol Stations. I am assuming you didn't get the email as I didn't get a reply. I have now included the updated Petrol Stations in GPSWorld POI Petrol Station Database. |

The Petrol Files on my Page formed the basis of the POIs at PGPSW, which are now even more accurate. ;) _________________ Richard
