Republic of Ireland mapping

I am about to move to the republic of Ireland and was wondering which (if any) of the PDA/smartphone packages provide the best street level mapping for door to door navigation.
I currently use TomTom5 (can't upgrade to 6 as it is not compatible with the Nokia 9300i) or NAV4ALL but am willing to purchase new software and/or a new phone for the right solution.
I looked at the TomTom site and it shows the republic of Ireland as a white area which I assume means no coverage.

Navteq maps have full coverage so Garmin units will cover all of Ireland. I don't think they do a program that runs on a PDA though, you'd have to buy one of their dedicated units.

I think some TomTom use Navteq maps too, but I'm not sure which ones.
