No idea what is was - rebooted and it was still on the screen - had 6.75 WE map and traffic enabled at the time...
been a tomtom user for 5 years - not seen this before..... any idea's? _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

It's probably the weather report - part of TomTom Traffic
Although that used to be a windsock in a square. The best description of all the icons (there are ones for snow/ice, fog, rain etc. too) is in the original Go x00 series manual.
You can read it on-line HERE
Click on "TomTom Plus" in the index on the left and scroll down 3 or 4 screens to see a description of all of the icons.
Daft, that they don't have such a good manual for the new models! |

funny that it wasn't on the traffic bar and it wasn't windy either!
maybe useful at some point - espcecially when towing etc.

I have activated the service area poi on my One V2, and can't make head or tail of what the icon is supposed to represent. Anyone got any ideas? |

Is this the built-in ones?
I havn't got a "service areas" but have got a "rest areas", which seems to be Motorway service areas.
The icon for that is supposed to be a stick-man lying down, leaning against a tree (looks more like a tadpole (or worse!) to me ) |

Thats the one, I thought it was a high heeled shoe, with a high level cistern attached. |
