Just bought my first Sat Nav - Garmin Nuvi 310

Hi!

I've just signed up having bought my Garmin Nuvi 310 on Friday. I've not really used it yet though I did connect it to the PC and register it with Garmin as well as sign up for the 3 months free speed camera updates. It also has loads of POIs on it by the looks of things.

I'm not sure if Garmin will provide me with a more up to date map than the one that was preloaded I guess I'll ring them next week now.

My main question is what areas of the site should I look at and what can I download from here to get the most out of my Sat Nav?

When you want to try the Speed Camera database from this site you might want to try having a read through This Forum.

If you want more accurate POI files for your new unit have a look in This section, please don't go mad installing everything available though, your unit has a limit of 257 custom POI categories.
