Hi all
A question for you advanced users.
What are the differences, pro's & cons of NMEA & Sirf data streams ?
Memory map uses NMEA, so what uses Sirf ?
thanks Roy _________________ all the best

Read this http://www.sectron.cz/md/cz/pro/gps/download/gps_protocol.pdf
For the end user there is no perceptible difference. The same 1 Hz update rate, and the slowest and most data wasting NMEA 4800 stream can be handled easily. Higher baud rates or SiRF compression just allow the processor to wait faster. _________________ Lutz

Hi Lutz
thanks for the info, so it's just a different way of sending the same data.

Hi all
Ok so charging the battery when fitted into the 2210 is no problem, but how about charging spare batteries.
Anybody know if this is possible ? _________________ all the best
