hi, I bought this TomTom unit last year and did all the updating etc when I bought it, however since then i have managed to lose the manual and cd
but...I have the USB cable for it, just posting here hoping that someone can give me a link with info on how to update it /link to the software/updates too
I want to put the low bridges POI on it and get the most up to date maps
any help appreciated |

Download a new manual from the TT site:
http://www.tomtom.com/support/support.php?ID=3&Language=1
You need TomTom Home to download and install maps.
PoIs go in the map folder, so wait until you have the new map installed before you add the new PoI. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

ok not quite sorted, the original card is 128mb , what is the max size of card i can buy so i can put different voices/poi's etc on ?
any SD card will do I assume ? |

2GByte max. Normal "high speed" card. Not "normal" or "Ultra" speed.
Reputable brand such as Sandisk or Kingston.
Try a search for something like "2GB" or "SD cards" in just the TomTom forum, for lots more opinions! |
