Is it just me or does TTN6 lose any traffic data when the app is closed? This is particularly annoying as you have to re-download the info. Adding to GPRS costs.
Is there a way to overcome this (other than leave TTN6 running)?

Your traffic data will be out of date within minutes of download so why would you want to keep it? _________________ Everywhere and nowhere

I'd have to agree. Traffic situations are constantly changing, I have mine poll for updates every 5 mins when I'm on a long journey. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I download the traffic data at home via wifi, then get in my car. If my pda closes down before I dock it, I have to use GPRS to replace the data.
I guess I'm just trying to save GPRS costs. |

I find the polling pretty hit and miss, mine is set for every 10 mins but it may do this once and then not again for over an hour (I see the pie picture change) so most of the time I'm always doing a manual update anyway.
I do notice that it I stop with TT6 and switch off the PDA when I start it back up I will lose the traffic and it will not reconnect unless I shutdown TT6 and restart the application. I just do this as a matter of course now so it works. _________________ Samsung S22 Android, Google Maps & Camera Alert |
