How accurate is the speed reading on the Tom Tom One V2. My cable driven speedo reads 75mph when my tom tom reads 70. I know speedos are normally inaccurate but can I trust the TT when it comes to passing speed cameras.

if travelling on an even road (not considerably uphill or downhill) your tomtom reading will be much more accurate.
speedos in cars can be as much as +10%. (they cannot under-read your speed).
my renault shows 77mph when travelling at a 'real' steady 70mph on a motorway. |
