Can somebody help please my setup is Pocket Loox 600 Pocket PC2002 TTN2.24 GPS 2.08. I loaded GPSAssist last night thought I would try the 40 starts before I bought it all loaded on fine saved it to a 256meg SD card. My problem is that every time I turn of Tom Tom it restarts only way to stop this is to do a soft reset.

I had this happen to me a lot - in the end I ditched gps assist - it offers a lot but doesn't deliver.

However, back to your problem - switch to gps assist and switch it off rather than switching off Tom tom - ie swap to a tom tom view wwhic allows you access to the start menus and switch to gps assist and switch gps assist off from it's own menu button (or set up and aard key from within tom tom that opens GPS assist.
