Slow refresh rate in the centre of London. A mile behind me!

Can anyone tell me if I can improve the refresh rate while using the icn630 in London as the satnav seems to be about a mile behind where I actually am, travelling at about 10mph in traffic?

Do I need a gizmo that inpoves the antenna?

And no, I did not through it out of the window

You need an external antenna. This may give an improvement but may not completely resolve your issues. The iCN630 has a SiRFII chipset which is not as efficient as the current SiRFIII.

SiRFIII copes much better with urban canyon environments such as London. The only way to change receiver is to replace the device.
