Hi, has anyone tried using TT6 on a new Nokia N95. I know the phone has it's own mapping / GPS but it does not link to a traffic monitoring system. I guess TT6 will still need the external GPS reciever as it will not find the internal one. I am using TT6 on a N80 which works reasonably well, but would like to upgrade the phone for bigger screen plus other features (camera etc).
Many thanks

To answer my own question, yes it does work, but cannot recognise the internal GPS reciever, so you have to use the tom tom one. |

That is true at the moment but I was in the Nokia shop in Basingstoke on Tuesday and the guy in there said that TomTom were working on it. I'm after one of these myself to replace my stolen N90. Only £600 sim free from Nokia! _________________ Tim |

Or why not go direct to O2 - £20 p/month + £249 on a 12 month contract = £489 for the year and its yours plus you get inclusive calls & texts. (I've gone for the £35/month + £89 for 12 months on a 12 month contract (£510) and get 400 mins + 500 texts + Free weekends + rollover minutes + cheaper international calls). :D |

I might switch from Vodafone, but to T-Mobile, not O2. I won't buy from Carphone Warehouse because they have screwed me once before. I even got an email from Charles whatsisname virtually telling me to take my business elsewhere! _________________ Tim |

Very impressed with the N95. I've been using the GPS for a week now and it's behaving well.... |

Each icon that you would press on the screen has a number attached to it, such as "Navigate to" may have a number 1 in front the words. You then press the number for the option on the telephone keypad.
You start to learn these numbers such as Navigate to Home is 1,1 or Traffic Update is 3,3 for example. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

Or you can just scroll and select like menus in your phone, using joystick or arrow pad.
Maps are searched using 1-9 to zoom (1 max zoom, 9 min zoom) and arrow again to select - this is more accurate than finger poking on a normal tomtom ;-) _________________ _______________________________________

Does anyonehave any further news on the TT situation re using the internal GPS.
It seems a bit pointless to use a bluetooth on an phone with GPS built in.
I have an old N3230 (I think) which runs TT very well with a slimline Holux but would like the built in option.
