Many iCN510 owners are in a similar quandary. The map upgrades are only available as a complete set at £98.99 and without any software upgrade which. in my opinion is not worth the money. I don't know if the Mio mapping would work on the Navman - despite Mitac recently taking over Navman. I suspect not
I know that the outlay for GPS devices is not easy for many of us, but your better bet would be to buy one of the N range units which from time to time are offered at Costco or on a hefty discount at Amazon (now expired)...see HERE at around £150. This unit has the latest SmartST SE software, a faster processor and the latest street level mapping europe wide. Then you could sell you 510 on Ebay to partially offset the cost. _________________ Gee-Pee

I second that. It probbaly will work out about the same to sell your Navman and get a new one rather than pay £100 for a set of maps. _________________ TTG 720

Yes I agree.
But is the F series as good as the 5XX series. They are the entry level. Apart from the receiver and latest maps, what minuses or pluses has the F series over the 5XX models. I take on board that the F is 3 years younger than the 5XX. I still have not made up my mind.
Regards
